2037th Engineer Fire Fighting Platoon

The 2037th EAFFP was activated 5 July 1943, per GO 24, Hqs. Harding Field, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, dated 5 July 1943.
Nine (9) Enlisted were transferred 14 April 44 to 2147th EAFFP per par 3 SO 103, Hqs. IX Bomber Comman.
The 2037th EAFFP was disbanded 9 June 1945 pursuant to authority contained in teletype U-1531-1, IX Air Force Service Command (Secret) dated 7 June 1945 and par 1 SO___ Hq 490th Air Service Group, dated 9 June 1945.
Personnel were assigned to Hq & Base Services Sq, 490th Air Service Group, par 1 SO___Hq 490th Air Service Group, dated 9 June 1945.
