Detailed History

Memorial to the 9 American airmen killed when their B-17 Old Faithful crashed at Snag Farm, Stoke Trister, near Wincanton, Somerset, UK. The crew had strived to land away from the town. Local residents and relatives of the airmen held a ceremony of remembrance at the memorial on 22 May 2014.
