Commanding Officer of the 492nd BG from 17 December 1944 to April 1945.

Commanding Officer of the 306th BG from 16 Apr 1945 to May 1946.



He was a West Point Graduate of 1934 class. His final duties was with the European Air Transport Service during the Occupation flying from the Weisbaden Headquarters. He was killed in flight en-route from Naples, Italy to Bovington, England on 01 Nov. 1946.
