Salt Lake County, UT, USA 19 July 1996 H. LeRoy "Roy" Honey, 73, died July 19, 1996 at a local hospital due to cancer. Born October 21, 1922 in Salt Lake to Brigham Heber Honey and Helen Lund Honey Anthony. Married Mary Jean Larsen October 4, 1946 in Salt Lake. Roy was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Parish and supporter of St. Vincent Golf Group, the Golden Club and St. Martha's Baby Project. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and was a member of the Sugar House VFW, and a member of the Murray Elks Lodge. Retired from Commercial Security Bank. He enjoyed golf, tole painting and helping his family and friends. Roy adored his family and will be dearly missed by all.
