Military ROLL OF HONOURAssigned to 358BS, 303BG, 8AF USAAF. Killed in Action (KIA) on B-17 42-6064 'Star Dust' piloted by Lt. William C. Fort. On his first mission as a substitute navigator, he was killed instantly when hit by a 20mm shell.
Part of the B-17 crew that overflew the 1943 world series final en route to Presque Isle Airfield, MN.
