Litchfield, IL 62056, USA 6 May 2005 LITCHFIELD - Andrew Joseph Geletka, 84, of Litchfield died Friday, May 6, 2005, at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield. He was born April 10, 1921, in Moweaqua, the son of Stephen and Nellie Potsic Geletka. He married Marjorie June Weakly in 1946 in Moweaqua. Mr. Geletka graduated from Moweaqua High School and was a U.S. Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, serving in Europe. He received the Air Medal with three bronze battle stars and retired as a lieutenant colonel from the U.S. Air Force Reserves after more than 30 years. He worked for the Illinois Department of Employment Security in Decatur and Springfield and retired as an office manager in Litchfield. He was a member of Holy Family Parish in Litchfield, Litchfield Country Club, VFW Post 3912 and Litchfield Moose Lodge 1634.
