Wounded In Action

Hamburg, Germany 31 December 1944 Sevy was flying as waist gunner with the O.D. Smith Crew when they were attacked by German fighters and then hit by flak. The Co-Pilot was killed and Sevy was wounded. The Radio Operator (Leon Smith) and Ball Turret Gunner (John B. Martin) administered to his wounds.
