Shot down 26-Nov-44, Prisoner of War (POW) Luft 1 #6443 No. 3 Compound, on 12th Mission in B-24J 44-40271 6x-K 'House of Rumor'. Retired 31-Jan-65 as Lt Col. WWII, Korea, Vietnam. B-29 58 mission Lorea; F81F Vietnam VNAF. He afterwards flew a Lear jet for Brandeis Dept Stores and then became a partner in JEMECO Flying Service in Missouri offering charter flights, instruction etc. etc. finally retiring in 1990.
