Shot up by severe flak damage during the bomb run to V-sites in FR on 13 Feb 1944 in B-24H #42-7558 'Lilian Ann'. With hole in the main fuel tamk and the two engines on the left wing out of action, the a/c returned and crash landed near Cover, Kent. RTD.
