21-Dec-43 in B-24 42-72878 'Miss Emmy Lou II' while on a combat training mission, all 4 engines cut out. Made a forced landing at Richard's Farm, Bradenham. 4 suffered major injuries. 12 RTD. Richard Butler pilot.



Shot down 13-Apr-44 in B-24 42-100330. Parachuted into Switzerland. Interned until 22-Dec-44, then escaped to France. Discharged 9-Oct-45.
