Allen H Robinson
MilitaryOn 16-February-1943 in B-17F 42-5175 while serving as Engineer/Top Turret Gunner the aircraft was damaged by flak and 2 engines were hit on the bomb run over St. Nazaire, France. Fighters then attacked and Lt Downing gave orders to bale out. He baled out near Lannion, France and managed to evade capture and returned to England on 20-Sep-43.
