NOTE : Captain Baker, Lt Upting and Lt Hodges were members of the 93rd Bomb Group / 409th Bomb Squadron.

Personal research on Lt Epting and B-24 # 41-23740 on which he flew and for which I created a page, as one existed for Lt Epting, with a mention of 41-23740 but no association between them.

Capt. Edwin Baker was on TDY to the 9th Air Force on Operation Tidal Wave. He was interned in Turkey after the Ploesti bombing mission in the B-24D, 42-40754, Little Lady. 1 Aug, 1943.
