Military ROLL OF HONOUR

Assigned to 510BS, 351BG, 8AF USAAF. On mission to oil refinery in Germany, hit by flak after bombs away. B17 42-29874 'El Conquistador' fell behind and was attacked by fighters. With engines 3 & 4 knocked out, Henninger was killed and 3 injured, plane landed wheels up at Leiston which was still under construction. 12-Aug-43. Killed in Action (KIA).
