Flew as a temporary sub as Copilot for Riordan crew. Completed 27 missions. He was one of the 4 original pilots of group. Transferred to Bovingdon in Mar 1943. Trans to 11th CCRC on 05 Jun 1943. He was the 8th Officer to complete a tour. Back in the States he became Director of Flying in the B -29 program.
He afterwards owned a retail carpet business until retirement in 1984.
