Lt Elwood L. Faulhaber was assigned as Bombardier in the 329th Bomb Squadron, 93rd Bomb Group, in Hardwick, England, 8 Jul 1944- 24 May 1945.

Elwood enlisted in the U.S. Army as a mechanic in January 1941 and was later commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Air Corps on January 15, 1944.

Military Education includes AAF Aircraft Mechanic School, Chanute Field, ILL, Pilot Training, Gulf Coast Training Command, AAF Bombardier School, San Angelo, TX, and AAF Flexible Training School, Harlingen, TX.
