Died

Highland, NY 24 June 2013 Dominick J. Manolio, age 95, of Highland, NY passed away on Monday, June 24, 2013. He lived most of life in Fort Lee, residing in Wayne before moving to Highland. Mr. Manolio served as a lieutenant in the US Air Force during World War II. He received a BS from Rutgers University and a MA from Columbia University. Mr. Manolio was a teacher at Hoboken High School for 36 years and a football coach at Ferris High School in Jersey City. He was a member of Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, Wayne; the Hoboken Teachers Association and the Hudson County Football Coaches Association. He was the beloved husband of 64 years of Olga R. (Matera); loving father of one son; one daughter; devoted grandfather of three. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Mass on Friday, June 28, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 49-02 Laurel Hill Blvd, Woodside, NY.
