He owned and operated Dessy's Bowl. He moved to Salem in 1962 and owned the Eastwood Bowl. At the time of his death, he was the owner of Northgate Bowl and Stayton Bowling Lanes. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II and was imprisoned in Stalag Luft 1, North 2 Compound, Barracks 2, Room 9. He married Doris "Dolly" L. Dolezal on June 28, 1947, in Wahoo, Nebraska. |
