MilitaryVery proud of his service years, many stories of the ship ride over to England as a young man, 'pet' donkey on base. In the last few months of his life when communication and movement was very difficult for him, he would still lift his head to the sky to follow a plane when we were outside---long before the rest of us would hear or notice!
1 service stripe, 4 overseas service bars, American campaign medal, European-African-Middle Eastern theater ribbon, good conduct medal, world war 2 victory medal
