Missing in Action (MIA)

20 May 2044 Capt. Clark was on the Battlin Bitch on a raid over the Dieppe Port. He was presumably in the lead ship in the box formation, given that in said formation, there was only one bombardier. There was heavy flak over the target and the left engine was damaged. The left engine was smoking, but the plane appeared to be under control heading back toward England. Then, the ship was seen to head back toward France, but was loosing altitude. It crashed into the Channel near Dieppe around 1730 (local). No wreckage or bodies were recovered, save that of s/s Hamley, whose body washed ashore in France some time later. The MACR presumed all were KIA.
