Flew 29 missions with 446th from 12/24/43 to 4/29/44. Assigned to B-24 crew #302-7-46 piloted by Charles R. McKeny, co-pilot Kenneth R. Lyell. While flying with crew #302-7-36 piloted by Weems D. Jones #42-100360 'Luck & Stuff' was shot down 4/29/44 approx 45 min west of Berlin. Killed in Action (KIA) were Jimmie L Calhoun & Charles E. Hill. Perry and others were captured and taken to Du Lag Luft, Frankfort and Stalag IV. Was liberated on 4/26/45 after one year of captivity. Liberated near the city of Annaburg on the Elbe River by the 104th Division.
