Military ROLL OF HONOUR

On 6-September-1942 while serving as Navigator of B-17F 41-24516 'Meltin Pot' the aircraft lost 2 engines off Londonderry after flight from Newfoundland. Landed in shallow water and all crew members walked ashore.



On 18 November 1942 Killed in Action when fragments from an 88mm shell hit him in the small of his back B-17 was piloted by 1st Lt Robert Seelos.
