Henderson was a heavy bomber pilot with the 3rd Air Division, 8th AF, he arrived in the UK on 20-Feb-45, and was wounded in action in Mar-45. He was later hospitalised near Bury St Edmunds for two months with Desert Fever.



Henderson transferred to a troop carrier unit following his release from hospital. Passenger aboard C-47, bound for Munich, crashed Schlatt, Germany 4-Nov-45. Died Non Battle (DNB)
