On 13 October 1942 he entered the service from Little Rock, Arkansas as a private. He had two years of high school education, was Married and his civilian occupation was listed as: "Healers and medical service occupations, n.e.c.".

We have Corporal Adams listed on the 437th TCG General Order #9, dated 15 August 1944 as being awarded a Good Conduct Medal.
