Al joined the Army Air Corps in 1942, becoming a 2nd Lieutenant WWII pilot. He flew 70 missions in B-25J fighter-bombers. Al retired a Major from the USAF Reserves. In military service, he earned numerous medals and commendations. As a civilian, Al served his country by working for the Navy, the Air Force and Bonneville Power. Al leaves behind a legacy of service to his country and a lifetime of learning to love God and the people in his life. |
