Vancourver, Washington 15 December 2007 March 22, 1923 - December 15, 2007- Born in tiny Rumsey, California to Walter and Gladys Forrister, Al grew up in San Diego with brothers Walter Jr. and Charles "Bob" Forrister. Al joined the Army Air Corps in 1942, becoming a 2nd Lieutenant WWII pilot. He flew 70 missions in B-25J fighter-bombers. Al retired a Major from the USAF Reserves. In military service, he earned numerous medals and commendations. As a civilian, Al served his country by working for the Navy, the Air Force and Bonneville Power. Al leaves behind a legacy of service to his country and a lifetime of learning to love God and the people in his life.
