Frederic Charles Ritger Jr

Ritger played football for Columbia University where he did his undergraduate work. He earned his law degree from Rutgers University. He served as an Assistant United States Attorney for New Jersey.

After bailing out, Ritger successfully evaded capture by connecting with partisans. He returned to Allied controlled territory on 22 December 1944 and was back at his base on Corsica on 23 December 1944. He was returned to the USA.
