Port Arthur, Texas 13 December 2011 Norman B. Moerbe, age 94 of Port Arthur, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Norman was born in Winchester, Texas on April 25, 1917 to Benhard and Martha Zoch Moerbe. He was a 91 year resident of Port Arthur, receiving his primary education at the Trinity Lutheran Church school, where he was a long time member. Norman went to work at Texaco, Inc. at the age of 19 leaving to join the United States Air Force during World War II. He was a Bombardier on B-25's with 57 missions and reached the rank of Major. After service Norman went back to Texaco where he retired as night foreman over the Lab and research.
