Wellston, Oklahoma 12 May 2006 Forrest L., 86, of Carney, passed away on May 12, 2006. He was born March 20, 1920, in Wayne, Oklahoma, to Clifford Carlton & Catherine Maxwell Westbrook. Forrest graduated from Wynnewood High School in 1938 and raced horses before he went into the military service. Forrest retired in 1966 from the United States Air Force after 24 years of service and remained in close contact with his fellow veterans thru 'The 57th Bomb Wing Association' World War II members who served in Italy, Corsica and North Africa. Forrest raised cattle, enjoyed gardening and his special dog. He is survived by his wife, Avis Mae of the home; 2 daughters, Clarette Kaye Westbrook and Lyndia Yvonne Knapp; 3 sons, William Loren Westbrook, Forrest Lynn Westbrook, Jr. and Robert Lamont Westbrook; 6 grandsons, Richard, Michael, Forrest III, Christopher, Aaron and Toby; 2 granddaughters, Lisa and Jennifer; great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Mackenzie, Colton, Jewel and Joel: 1 sister, Janice W. Shirley; nephew, Clifford Carlton Westbrook III; sister and brothers-in-law, Ernest & Ozie Holasek and Lyndell & Doris Warren; and a host of other loving friends and family members. Forrest was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Clifford Carlton Westbrook, Jr. Funeral services will be held at the Tinker Air Force Base Chapel, on Wednesday, May 17th, 2006, at 11:00 am, with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery, in Wynnewood, OK, at 3:00 pm.
