Llewellyn (Lew) MacKenzie trained on Course 23 at Falcon Field, starting on 5 September 1944 and graduating on1 April 1945. After the war he remained in the RAF and converted on Oxfords from single engines. He flew Dakotas on transport subsequently. Lew was involved in flying the negotiating team for the partition of India negotiations.
