Flight Officer Loys Duncan served in the Glider Pilot Company, 76th Troop Carrier Squadron. He landed his Glider filled with Infantry Troops near Wesel, Germany on 24 March 1945. He was killed by sniper fire shortly after landing. He is buried in the Netherlands American Cemetery
Margraten, Netherlands.
