Jack E Lambrecht
Military1st Lt. Jack E. Lambrecht was a glider pilot serving in WWII from 1941 through 1945. As a glider pilot, with the 76th TCS, he served in campaigns in Sicily, Normandy, Southern France, Holland, Bastogne, the Rhine Crossing, and Central Europe. Lt. Lambrecht moved to Austin in 1945 and was based at Bergstrom Air Force Base. He retired from the USAF Reserve in 1970 as a Lt. Colonel. He spent his post-military years in the construction business in Austin, Texas.
