Lady the Mutt

Lady was a mutt who became the mascot of the 417th Night Fighter Squadron. She was with the group in Corsica, and moved with them to Dijon.

William A Rhodes remembers her:'"Lady" may have been a mutt, but she was a warm friend to every man in the 417th NFS.'
