William Wade
Military ROLL OF HONOURKilled in Action (KIA) during Operation Market Garden in C-47 #43-16033 on 17 September 1944, his aircraft took a direct hit after completing the parachute drop, and caught fire. Wade had been tied to the ship to photograph the mission. He was last seen putting his parachute on with the assistance of Pahlow.
