Harold Earl Anderson


Harold entered the service on 26 November 1942 from Grand Rapids, Michigan. He enlisted as a Private in the Air Corps, Service # 16 167 519. He had four years of high school, was single, without dependents and his civilian occupation was listed as: “General farmers”. He married in 1944, and he and his wife had two children. In the Operation VARSITY, Serial A-9 orders he is listed as co-pilot of CG-4A #43-42026, Chalk # 125, being towed (short tow) by C-47A #43-15311, Chalk # 23.
