Arrived Scotland 7 Jun 43 and served with 303rd BS at Molesworth, England.
Scheduled to become Flight Engineer, but at suggestion from Gen R Travis(Co of 41st Bombardment Wing) became his driver until Gen Travis returned to USA.
Final unit was 323Bomb Sqdn , 91st Bomb Grp at Bassingbourn
Returned to USA 29 Jun 45 and was discharged from Fort George Meade Md on 11 Sep 45
He then became a federal firefighter with the Washington DC fire service and retired as a Lieutenant.
