He was a president of Inter-County Golfers Association of Dubsdread and Men's Apparel Association, and a member of 57th Fighter Squadron Retirees. He was also an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Survivors: wife, Jacqueline; sons, John H., Virginia, Howard N.
