Lansdale, PA, USA 11 November 2014 CHARLES RIEKER Charles Rieker, 89, of Lansdale and formerly of Souderton, died Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Dock Woods Community. He was the beloved husband of the late Pauline (Munzinger) Rieker, who passed away September 4, 2013. Born July 20, 1925 in Lansdale, he was a son of the late George and Mary (Rhoads) Rieker. Mr. Rieker was a WWII Veteran of the US Army Air Corps. He was employed by the Souderton Post Office as a Letter Carrier for over 25 years prior to retirement. Charles was a longtime member of Grace United Methodist Church, Telford. Survivors include sons, Kenneth C. Rieker (Patricia) of Lansdale, and James R. Rieker (Janice L.) of Sellersville; sister, Dorothy Alderfer; and four grandchildren, Jonathan Rieker, Tyler Brown, Jenna Brown, and Matthew Dekker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Melvin Fretz. Burial will be private in Greenlawn Cemetery, North Wales. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Mr. Rieker's memory to Living Branches - Dock Woods Sharing Fund, 275 Dock Drive, Lansdale, PA 19446.
