Ross Orden Scarborough

Military

US citizen born in Hidalgo County, New Mexico., Ross Scarborough joined the RAFVR in 1941[RAF No. 65976], before being assigned to Squadron 133, the third "Eagle" Squadron. In September 1941 he was transferred to Squadron 71 "Eagle".
On a training flight on November 15th in Spitfire Vb W3627 he collided with Sq Ldr Stanlet T Meares in W3963. Both men were killed. Buried at Brookwood Cemetery, Surrey.
