Wing Commander, 8th Air Force Combat Support Wing. Colonel Grubb conducted an inspection tour of 8th AF Combat Support Wing Installations commencing 1st Nov. 1943. At Col. Grubb's request he was accompanied by Colonel Ganoe. They were also accompanied by Tech Sgt. Gold. The report mentions they commenced from London.
A variety of conditions and states of morale were found and commented on.

In the Nov.1943 Inspection report of Supply Command Depots made by Wing Co. Colonel Grubb it was commented that 'a Lt Michael seemed to be particularly bright and apt'. The October 1943 series of photos at the site does not show a Lt Michael. So...
