On 4 Jan 1944 B-24H # 42-7476 'Nice N' Naughty'. Problems on TO and AC ran off end of runway and crashed in ditch. Damaged by flak on a mission to Mont-de-Marsan airfield, FRon 27 Mar 1944, B-24J #42-109836 attempted to reach Spain but was forced to ditch into the Channel. Killed in Action (KIA).
