Wilbur J Rowland
MilitaryShot down 12 August 1943 in B-17 42-29587 'Jolly Roger', Prisoner of War (POW). His plane was shot down on August 12, 1943 over Germany, and he was taken to Dulag Luft, Frankfort, Stalag Luft III, Sagan, as a POW. In January 1945 he endured a long march to Stalag VII A, Mooseburg, where the POW's were
liberated by General Patton.
