Lt. O'Sullivan was repatriated through Switzerland and sailed on the M. S. Gripsholm in Feb 45 to the US. This Swedish luxury diesel liner was leased by the Amer. Red Cross for the express purpose of moving former Prisoner of War (POW)s home to the US.
