Awards: DFC (OLC), AM (5OLC), PH, WWII Victory, EAME, National Defense, Legion d'Honneur.
Post war: Remained in USAF serving in Korea and Vietnam, flying 350 forward Air Control missions rising to rank of Colonel and retiring in 1973.
