Stanley Stemkoski was Engineer/Top Turret Gunner on B-17 #41-24465 'Montana Power', shot down 5 April 1943 in Belgium. Killed in Action (KIA). Note : The crew list in the MACR and his gravestone at the Ardennes American Cemetery have him as Stanley P. Stemkoski.

The translation of the German report in MACR 15534 also has Stemkowski (that the Germans must have read on his dog tags) ?

His body was found by a forest worker (probably in the Kapellenbos woods) at 20:00 on 8 April 1943, at about 2,5km South of Kalmthout. He was first buried on 12 April 1943 at the Schoonselhof Cemetery in Hoboken, Antwerp, Belgium. After the war his remains were transferred to the Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupré, Belgium
