Military14 May 194first B-26 combat mission with the 8th. B-26B-4-MA was on assigned target to Ijmuiden, Holland. On return, the ac spun and crashed at Rougham, Suffolk. Pilot John J. Howell died, but the 5crew members successfully bailed out.
