From Butte, Montana. Flew 35 missions as B-17 bombardier and flight officer between April 24 and June 25, 1944 when he was 19 years old. Twelve missions were in 42-97833 Silver Dollar, five in 42-97678 Birmingham Jewel. Primarily with Jack Puckett’s crew. He was training as a fighter pilot when the war ended. Became a successful attorney in Montana with 10 kids. Was considered an expert fly fisherman. Passed away in 2002.
