S/Sgt Eloe was taken by the Germans to an unknown hospital with T/Sgt Allen. He died 5 hours later. Killed in Action (KIA). Originally interred in the Cemetery of Army Post of Wesermuende-Gustemunde. Buried in the Netherlands AMC.
