Navigator, Clore crew. 381st BG, 532nd BS. Formerly from the 534th BS. Killed in Action (KIA). Crashed shortly after TO near Hedingham on mission #56 to Kiel, Germany in B-17G #42-31278 'Mix Master'. Originally buried in the Cambridge AMC.

Earlier, shot down 17 August 1943 in B-17 #42-29735 'Our Mom. ' Plane ditched in North Sea. Returned to base.
