Bernard I Hanover
MilitaryBernard Hanover's middle initial is given as "E" in MACR 268 and in his NARA POW records, while his WW II Enlistment Records have "I", the correct one. This is confirmed in his 29 January 1946 Draft Registration Card. He was assistant engineer on pilot Charles L. Duncan's "Judy E" - 42-30050, shot down by fighters over Dieppe, France 10 July 1943. Captured and made a Prisoner of War (POW).
