Corrected "Norman Bastaky" to "Norman Bastoky". This is my grandfather. I have a copy of this photo with signatures on the back.

Memorial service will be Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at Oakland, Moscow Lutheran Church, Albert Lea, Minn. Service will be 11 a.m. Visitation is with family and friends at 10 a.m. Merrill was born Dec. 9, 1924, in Austin, Minn., to John and Gladys (James) Lee. He attended school in Austin and married Louise Kennedy on April 5, 1947, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. After the passing of Louise, Merrill married Alice on Sept. 2, 1995. He is preceded in death by first wife Louise Kennedy Lee; parents, John and Gladys Lee; brother, Richard Wayne Lee of Austin. He is survived by wife Alice; two children, four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; abrother-in-Law, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Merrill served our country in World War ll in the Army Air Force, in England. |
