On May 20, 1943, was in ac # 42-29786 which crashed at Dunsby in a training accident. Shot down 21 May 1943 in B-17 #42-3214. POW at Stalag. After his retirement from USAF in 1971 he became a cattle rancher.
Flew 22 missions from 09 October 1942-21 May 1943.
Retired in 1971, he had 30 yrs of service.
